Katie Majors, Co-Founder

With studio locations in Los Angeles and Orange County, Katie Majors’ clientele ranges from well known singer-songwriters and recording artists to working musical theatre performers of all ages in Southern California.

Her refined approach to vocal balance has made her one of the most sought after vocal coaches in Los Angeles for singers needing guidance and understanding of their own voice.

Equally comfortable in front of an audience, Katie’s solo career has given her the opportunity to work with major artists at The Ace Hotel, The Fonda Theatre, The Whiskey, and The Rainbow Room. She has also been a featured singer for special events at The Segerstrom Center and The Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre.

As a musical director Katie has worked with Marina High School, Yorba Linda Spotlight Theatre, and Musical Youth Artists Repertory Theatre (MYART).

She has held faculty positions at Clifton Dance Project, The Academy of Performing Arts (APA), and is currently the resident vocal coach for Free To Be Me Academy in Orange County.

She continues to collaborate with songwriters and artists in the LA area and has released EP’s and several original works of her own.

Her love of music has become the main inspiration for her teaching, developing comprehensive programs for her clients no matter what skill level.

Katie holds a Bachelor of Music from Cal State Fullerton with an emphasis in music education, and continues to perfect her process here at LA Vocal Studios.

“The pedagog here at LA Vocal Studios is hands down the most comprehensive system of teaching I have ever come across. I am continually amazed by the quick results clients have been able to achieve. We do not teach by theory but by hands on experience!”

Katie has perfected the art of teaching through countless hours of study and application with Master teachers Seth Riggs and Louie Avila.
